Do not simply adjust your chain. Chain adjustment in one direction or the other can cause damage: not to say that adjustment is not needed in your case. Is the chain actually sagging below mid point on the travel arm when not in operation? Check ALL of the rollers, ALL of the hinges, ALL of the hardware, the tracks for proper lubrication and/or signs or wear, bending or cracking etc... Make sure the track, rollers, trolley and travel arm are properly lubricated if they are in good condition. The spring tension could be an issue too,but, that would need a pro for most folks.
You door operation seems labored and the opener may just be balking, I can hear squeaking.

I spray mine with wd-40, but, mostly just for corrosion resistance. The ends of the spring axle, the rod the spring is on (they have the cable spools)should be lubed, they have bearings or a bushing.
