Moved in last year and loved that the house had a flagpole. However I wanted to make it right. So I got to it this spring and straightened the setting, lubricated the truck wheel, replaced the rope, new 4x6 flag, and new plastic snap hooks.
But the most favorite thing purchased was the Annin LED solar light. The last pic you can see the glow on the ground as well, I checked the light before sunrise and it was still bright and working great. Also look for pics below of the Half Staff App I use to notify my when I should put the flag at half.
Looks like you got real flag pole too. I was fortunate to find one on Craigslist for just $200..... only had to jackhammer it out of the ground. LOL Online I priced them about $1500. Took a day but I got it polished up really nice and then used a heavy duty marine wax for protection. That's well casing filled with concrete on the end of it.
