I don't recall on the look but do recall it was strongly advised to buy the very best available. In a driveway or outside environment, it'll last a few years. Inside a building (depending on traffic), it'll last a lot longer. I still have low traffic areas with visible sealer that are 15+ years old. It had a gloss but don't recall it changing the color any (maybe a little darker?).
I'm happy with it.
I used a pump sprayer to apply. Make sure you get one that can handle the sealer. As I recall, avoid any sprayer that's plastic. I "think" it's because the sealer eats the plastic canisters.
As I recall, once you start, don't stop. If you stop for any extended period, it'll clog the sprayer. A thorough cleaning of the sprayer at the end or you might as well just throw it away.
