I have a dish water that we do not use. I cleaned and dried the dish water 2 days ago and today I noticed that there is some water in it. And it is slowly stinking.

Where is the water coming from?

I have 2 sinks with faucets and one garbage disposal.

This is in Kitchen.

Let me guess. You have a dishwasher that is connected to the sink drain via the garbage disposal?

If you are not using the dishwasher at all (meaning you stored dishes, pots and pans in there), don't hook up the drain line and turn off the water. Otherwise, run your dishwasher once a while or you will get some clog on the drain line and even worse, water going to the drain line if the drain line is not installed properly.

Make sure the drain hose is mounted as high above the sink as possible.
