New to casement windows so I'm learning here as I go long.

The hardware on my casement windows are becoming loose.
It's the screws on the outside which have become loose that holds the unit together.


Sorta looks like this random pic on google:



As you can see, the hardware is not properly connected.
I've tightened the outside screws that holds the unit together.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Aside a simple retightening, is there something else I should do so that they stay tighten?
Is there a "correct" way to fix this?

Loctite is good if the screws are going into metal. Plastic not so much; Loctite destroys plastic.
It might be that the threaded sleeves the screws go into have cracked, in which case replacing the hardware is probably the only long-term solution.
