At first, they stole our frontyard flowers (all 7 of them) two weeks ago. They must walk around our house everyday or something because as soon as we bought them they STOLE THEM the very next morning. Today they managed to snatch a large plant pot, which was right in FRONT of our main door and living room window. They seem incredibly cunning.

The pattern is, they seem to be getting closer to our door? We're starting to get worried that they might have more sinister plans.

What should we do? Call the cops? It might not sound too much of a big deal for the cops, despite the fact it's rather startling to see stuff missing in your frontyard.

P.S. We don't have enemies. We don't even have that many friends to begin with.

You have a crime in progress, make a police report. Install some cameras and catch the perps. Could be kids just hassling you too.

Sounds like kids. Not much money in pawning flowers and plant pots.

What's so complicated? Put up some security cameras and call the police.

I'd definitely call the police. Install a camera focused on a new fall decoration to entice them.

Don't plan on putting pumpkins out this year.

Flowers disappearing is far different from your HOUSE being targeted.
... sounds like hungry animals to me.

That was my first thought, but animals don't steal large plant pots.

They are testing you to see what they can get away with. If you don't take action NOW they will be in your house stealing your belongings before you know it.

Install security cameras, if you hear something outside investigate, don't just sit there ... someone shouting will invariably scare them away.

Right now they have you pegged as an easy target :\
