Hi, accidently posted this on the end of another thread.

Have a stackable washer/dryer where the washer works fine. But recently the dryer stopped working. The light inside the drum doesn't turn on after opening the door so am assuming it's an electrical problem. I can spin the drum manually and the light clicks on and remains as long as I keep spinning it. As soon as I stop the light clicks off and there is once again no power. Any feedback is appreciated.
Thank you
John

Is the dryer 120 volts or 240 volts?

Try turning the breaker for the dryer fully off, then back on again.

Other than that, If you don't know what voltage it is best to call a repair person.

definitely check the breakers - I once had one of the two associated breakers blow due to other items on the circuit and had similar issues (everything functioned except the heat of the dryer though). The two breakers were connected loosely by a bar and although it looked like they were both ok, one had been tripped.
