What's the best product to clean mirrors? (windows, cleaner, bathroom)

What's the best product to clean mirrors? My mirrors always look streaky.

Use one of the microfiber cleaning cloths, such as the ones made by 3M to clean computer monitors. They are fairly inexpensive.

try using vinegar

or a combination of the two .... vinegar and water [i use distilled] wipe with the microfiber.

I just did my mirrors yesterday -- i have one of those HUGE wall mirrors in my bathroom and i used this stuff i got in a spray can from Sams .... had it for year, and i peeked under my cabinet.. and there it was, so i used it.

it's called Sprayway. [DH heard about it from a friend, years ago] i comes out as a foam type instead of liquid.... on the can it says, "Ammonia Free. Spray and wipe clean' Leaves no film. Windows | Mirrors | Windshields

I seem to have misplaced my "vinegar" spray bottle .... I normally use one or the other. I do not like Windex, though i have it in the house, since my one son uses it, and i bought a big refill bottle...[though i do believe it's finally empty]

This Sprayway stuff really does work well too. got off the 'tooth paste' spots and water spots in the mirror with no troubles.

I have tried it all and the thing that has worked the best for me is vinegar and newspaper. use two parts water, one part vinegar in a spray bottle, (I do like micro fiber towels but they sometimes streak) wad up newspaper and start wiping in a circular motion, it doesn't streak at all but the key is you have to continue wiping until there is no residue of vinegar on the mirror, try it it works great.

SPRAYWAY!!! My Dad gave us a can of this last year and it is the best thing on the market! I have done the vinegar/newspaper and the Sprayway works better with much less effort and you don't get newsprint all over your hands. It works on windows too. I especially love it for the interior car windows that are so hard to clean well. The glass shop that did our windshield repair gives out a can of this to their customers too. They swear buy it as well. It comes in a white spray can with blue lettering. We usually buy it at Sam's Club. I know Costco sells it as well. Everytime we buy a can the check out people comment on how good Sprayway works. (I sound like an infomercial ).

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!!! I decided to try the Srayway (I never heard of it before) and I just ordered some off the internet. I can't wait for it to come so I can try it. I have windex, glass plus and something in a black bottle I bought that isn't suppose to leave streaks or smear marks but they all still do. I also heard that certain paper towels leave smear marks on windows and mirrors but I forgot what brand. I'm using Bounty so I hope it's no that one!

This is the best product. I hated doing windows because they always looked worse after I got done with them. Their stainless steel cleaner/polisher is also great.

I can attest to this. I HATE cleaning mirrors and car windows, yes, inside too.... and MUCH less efforts.

I think the stuff from Sams was in a 3 pack... could have been 4 cans.
