What kind of mint because I had a mint beside my garage at my other house before my cats and the mice nested in it?

Wow Miborn, I believe you, but I've never heard of that! I've read that any mint, i.e. spearmint or peppermint, planted around the house will stop mice from coming in. Maybe they didn't know they were supposed to hate it?

*Sorry*

I had mice and used peanut butter in the traps and worked great. But like another poster said make sure you check them often so you can release them outside. Also they decided to take up residence under my washer and proceeded to chew some belts, so be careful.
