We have been in our new home for 3 months. Our floors are engineered hardwood that as I understand have been glued down. Since the weather has turned cold, I have noticed that it pops up intermitently . Not moving but up and down making a popping sound. I spoke with a rep from the flooring company and he said that it needed more glue? He wants to have someone from his company insert with a needle glue under the flooring. Has anyone had this done? What in the world does the floor look like after? Feeling afraid to have this done. Any opinions or experience with this?

If it's not moving, just leave it alone. If it actually becomes loose, then deal with.
