It is lock on my house, outside metal door. It's loose, so I want to remove it and screw back in tight.
But I don't know how to do it. Could you advise what to do?

View from outside

View from inside

View from side. Note the slit, it's loose. But it's working.

I can turn brown metal cover (it tight), and underneath there are two holes:

Holes completely visible. But there is no screws in them.. I tried to put two nails and turn but can't, it's not turning.

Key:

I don't see any pinholes anywhere.

Thank you

First move that cover plate around back to the area that you saw two holes.

Second put the key in the lock and turn slowly. Look for two access holes to move as you turn the key. Insert your screwdriver in those holes to adjust.

I would have thought that the access holes would be on either side of the lock but I am not familiar with this brand.

Merry Christmas and so glad I could help. Hadn't seen one of those is a long time. I used to work for a Locksmith company as a locksmith. Started working as a Institutional locksmith almost 17 years ago. Since that time I have built a knowledge base in Plant Operations and Facilities maintenance with a recent move into Fire Life Safety. Still, even here on City Data Forum my locksmithing Knowledge is of service. LOL
