I bought a 2 year old home that I am renting out for oneyear before I retire. The originalowners installed a very nice laminate floor in the living/dining room area. When I move into my new home I would like toreplace the laminate with hardwood floors. One of the secondary bedrooms will be used as a home gym. Would it be possible (or cost effective) toreuse the laminate in this room?

Is the laminate floating nail or glued? Imo it's not worth trying to save the glued or nailed floor. The floating can be picked apart.

We re-used about 180sf of high quality floating laminate and it's just fine. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
