Getting ready to move into a new place soon as part of our downsizing.
Filled out the change of address with the post office and made address changes with our employers, banks, investment companies, insurance co's, credit cards, utilities, friends & family, etc.
I still need to do address changes with our doctor's and pharmacy.

Anyone who may need to send you final bills or info about their professional services in your new area
Also if you belong to a parish or place of worship, notifying the new one in town or where you will attend would be helpful as well so you can be registered.
I know they offer a service where a place will contact and change your address for a fee but when we moved I just handled it myself and never had an issues.
I didn't do any of these things when I moved except just notifying the post office via their online submission. Everything eventually switched over to my new address miraculously (I'm not joking).
If you use post office change of address as permanent, the ones you missed will be forwarded, exception can be credit cards or mail saying do not forward.
