I've been trying to get the ceramic tile grout cleaned in my home and I'm struggling to find a good product. I've tried the Home Depot grout cleaner, bleach and finally a floor cleaner that was industrial strength. My grout is still dark. Has anyone found a product that works really well?
I just saw a youtube video of a homebuilder using meratic acid (1 part to 10 parts water) and it looked like it picked up grout dirt pretty well. Going to try that and see how it goes. Any other suggestions appreciated too!
I recommend using a steam cleaner. Spray on the cleaner you bought and then scrub it with the steam cleaner. I did that in my old kitchen and it made a world of difference.
This is the steamer I have but I think any of them with a hose and scrubbing attachment should work
