I am not sure if it is a right forum for this topic, sorry to bother if I should post somewhere else.
As a new homeowner, I have a question about washing decking. What do I need to pay attention to electrical outlet when washing deck? There will be quite some water with deck cleaner (maybe made of chemistry stuff)... Do I need to cover the electrical outlet?
No. It should be fine. Use a commercial deck wash and scrub as directed. Knowledge Builder has a good recommendation on what to use to refinish it. There are a lot of expensive deck finishes made from cheap ingredients. Depending on where you live, you may be due for a replacement in a couple years. You might start budgeting.
