My neighbor (on the other side of my duplex/half double) has had bedbugs, and an exterminator is coming to treat the place (two hours of heating the place to 120 degrees F., I understand). The exterminator wants to inspect my place as well, although I haven't seen any insects other than the very occasional stinkbug.

What should I do to prepare for this inspection? Where will he be most likely to look?

Though commonly used, the pesticide approach often requires multiple visits and may not always be effective due to pesticide resistance and dispersal of the bed bugs.

Heat treatment method of bed bug control involves raising room temperatures t
o or above the killing temperature for bed bugs, which is around 45 °C (113 °F).

Heat treatments are generally carried out by professionals, and may be performed in a single area or an entire building. Heat treatment is generally considered to be the best method of eradication because it is capable of destroying an entire infestation with a single treatment.
