A cleaning service will never attempt to sort out garbage from what you choose to save- think about it- "one's man trash is another man's treasure". So you definitely have to at a minimum get rid of what you consider trash to be tossed. Then you do have to at least put what you don't want to toss in another area. You have to provide clear work areas so they can actually clean.
You have gotten some very good suggestions here- I hope you let us know how you progress... good luck.

Well, you first posted LATE at night on MOTHER'S DAY, and your last post is time stamped at 4 am. One can only hope that you used those 6 or so hours to CLEAN, instead of mope around on your computer, awaiting a reply when most people were SLEEPING because they likely had to WORK today. Sheesh. Settle down.

As others have said, grab a garbage bag and start filling it. Then start washing your dishes. Purge, throw, wash, put away.

Brain dead, REALLY? Sleeping during the night after a long day, most likely.

Now start cleaning. We can only hope that the only reason YOU have not returned here today is that you've been CLEANING. Now get to it. As a sports apparel company says, "JUST DO IT".
