If a snowblower is under warranty and say was bought (shipped to home w/white glove delivery) from a big box store, would repair be done inhome? Or does this need to taken back to the store for repair? With a sedan, there is no way I can do it. I am referring to a 24 inch two stage.

Thinking of driving to the local ariens and toro approved repair shops to check their policies. Maybe they know better.

That would be spelled out in your warranty.
Read it before calling anyone.

I have not yet purchased any snowblower. Just trying to find if any brands offer inhouse repair. I read that Craftsman has this kind of warranty.

If you're looking at Ariens or Toro, I'm thinking you shouldn't really need to worry about it. It's rare for a quality snow blower to have any issues during the warranty period with the possible exception of a shear bolt on the auger which you can replace yourself in about 30 seconds.

Also, you're better off buying from a local dealer as opposed to a box store. You'll get better service and support.
