I have a hot & cold outdoor shower just off my basement and the pipes are freezing between the cinder block on the inside and rock wall on the outside. What plumbing changes do I need to make?

Hard to tell without being there but here goes a try:

Buy the electric heat wrap. I used to use this back east. You need an outlet nearby for this. The heat wrap looks like tape but it has the wire conductor inside that heats the pipe just like your electric blanket on your bed.

The other way is to let the faucett drip during the cold nights. I hate to see waste like that though.

Install drain ***** inside your house so you can turn off the lines inside and drain them during cold snaps.

Or you could install a shutoff valve at the source. Turn off the shutoff valve in the winter, drain the pipe, and you're good for the season!
