HVAC humidifier filter replacement (heating, installation, build, buy)

Thank you for the manual, I will read it. I did not have the manual, since I just bought this house one year ago.

By the way, can I order more Evaporator Pad? How many years will it last? I am thinking about to order 2 or 3 pads (for the next two or three years). You may ask why I order so many, because I just found a good deal.

I change the evaporator pad on my Aprilaire every spring after the heating season and usually buy two at a time.

I think a good "rule-of-thumb" is changing once a year. But it really just depends on how "neutral" your water is. I have seen pads that were 3-5yo and looked almost new- very little mineral buildup.

I have received vapor pad, it indicates "Top/Bottom", does it have front/back side? (What I mean is something like air filter airflow arrow).

For vapor pad, either side is same?
