We're in the planning stages for a kitchen remodel. We will be installing ourselves.

We'll be looking for dovetail drawers, plywood boxes, roll-outs etc.

Has anybody had any luck buying cabinets online? I'd open to recommendations on who to buy from and who not to buy from.

Thanks.

We looked into quite a few of them but ultimately decided to go with a local kitchen cabinet store so we could see them in person. My husband is planning on installing them himself too..

But, one thing the online cabinet distributors did that was awesome was when we sent them the measurements of our kitchen they emailed us printouts of what different cabinets would look like in our space from different angles.. From the top down and facing the cabinets. It was incredible to see how my kitchen could look and because they sent the measurements of the cabinets it was easier for me to get a ball park idea of how other cabinet companies would charge too.

A couple of them did send a portion of a door so we could see the quality of the wood free of charge, but honestly I found most of them to be more expensive because of shipping charges than buying locally.

Good luck!
