Oh, I forgot to add to my list the bodies.....well they are not technically in my garage. Just incased in the concrete floor......so that still counts sort of.
I've always wondered why people use their garage for everything but car storage. May be 10 houses out of 50 use their garage to store cars in my surrounding area. The rest have junk in them. To each his or her own I guess.
Cars in my garage and depending on the season, snow thrower/riding lawn mower and yard maintenance tools

The bodies at our house are buried under slate slabs in the basement.

Some people use things occasionally that can't stay outside. Since they can't be outside they tend to take up the easiest storage space available... the garage. In our case, we have tons of things that we use frequently that would eventually ruin in the rain. Not to mention, since our vehicles won't physically fit into the garage it became a catch all for things we don't want inside.
If we buy the new house, the items that we need to store will be relegated to the detached garage along with lawn equipment and the RZR. The only things going in the new garage is the fridge, a few small storage bins for things we sometimes use, and the Expedition. I'd be thrilled to part my truck in there as well and there will be plenty of room but I doubt it will clear the top of the garage door.
Where do you put the yard equipment in the season when it is not in your garage?
My shed. It's sort of a pain every now and then, to switch according to the season because both equipment won't fit in my garage at the same time. However I prefer the cars in the garage.

Sounds like you are the market for a new house then. Good luck with the search.
