Need to replace one set (of 6) of our sliding glass doors in sun room. Mostly due to inability to simply replace terrible screen system. Anyone have experience with Harvey or Anderson? Would need to go with wood to match others.
Thanks Chet. The doors in sunroom were installed in the 70s. Not just screen issue, but exterior wood rotting due to snow in winter. I was pleased to find out that new products with wood put a protective layer of vinyl (or aluminum, etc) over the exterior wood. Andersen is most expensive option, wondering if it's worth it.... Will look into Pella

Ive not heard of Harvey. Andersen is the largest window manufacturer and has outstanding warranties. While I like other premium window/door manufacturers like Pella, Marvin and Weathersheild I think Andersens doors are a bit better. With Andersen you can go vinyl clad or aluminum with their Eagle line. Personally I'd go with the flagship model vinyl clad 200 or 400 series doors.
Just replaced our sliders with Pella. Great product.
