In the kitchen junk drawer, in the car console, in the end table drawers, and whatever is closest to where they might show up. It is not a big concern of mine.
I have a plastic jar with cable ties and carabiners underneath my guinea pig cages, since I use both to secure things to the cage. I have another plastic jar with both on my workbench.
HaHaHa - I had to look up the word caribiners......

I think I got the ones I have at some sort of trade show. We just don't use many of them. In fact, I'm not sure we use any of them. They're in the same drawer as the batteries and those big black metal clips.
