You are missing one dimension! thickness, width, length. If its only 7 feet long then it might be OK-I would worry about how straight it is- but- I suppose it would be advertised as straight/or guaranteed , right?

I have a table saw so I can rip it to my final dimensions... Sorry I left that out!
That sounds cool! Never heard of that,but, it sounds like a convenient way to get a nice piece of lumber as you have described-gourmet lumber? lol
Please let us know if you go that way and how it turns out-I would be mad if it came with corner(s) smashed .
From what I learned "reclaimed" wood is more expensive than new wood...
