Dave Grohl had a home on the beach not too far from me. I drove past it every so often. Nice guy too. Oh and that drumming thing turned out just fine for him.
I asked my husband this question and he said that I would have to come up with the answer because he couldn't think of one. Awww. I guess I'll just have to do that thing to him again tonight.
My guess would have been the animals. I've always had them and can't live without them. They can be an inconvenience, especially when you spend over $40 dollars on a cat box that is supposed to keep dogs out and you smell cat turds on his breath. Ugh!!!!
Too high a level of aloofness. People tell me that I'm way way too serious. And then I tell them what I did in my career, and what my meditative life is like, and they don't EVER ask me about it again.
I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too neat, clean, tidy and organized. That really drives a lot of people nuts.
Remember the scene in the movie "Sleeping With The Enemy" when Julia Roberts' character opened the kitchen cupboard only to find that her psycho husband had found her, broke into her home and organized all the cans of food so that they were in rows with labels facing forward?....yeah, that's me...
That I hate doing dishes more than anything. And I will do anything to avoid doing them.
Now if I say that to my husband, he'll say, "Anything?"
So that's what I thought but I asked my husband and he said: "Hmm...I guess I'd only really say small things. Like remembering to have this doodad in this exact place, or this thing cleaned this exact way. It used to be worse, by far! Like, when you'd get super upset about something getting its first blemish."
Then he asked me what the worst thing about living with him would be and I said, "That you don't put back things where they belong and you try to ruin everything I own!"
I actually thought he was going to mention a desk that for some reason I have this issue with and it will be spotless and then before you know it, POOF everything is on the desk right there. And yet the entire rest of the apartment is clean without a thing left out anywhere.
In actuality, we are both pretty easy to get along with so we make excellent roommates.
