Maybe a squoosh more than the 750 sq ft we have now would be nice. 1941 bungalow with three bedrooms. Yeah right! One bedroom, and two decent size closets is what it really is.

Our current home has limitations, but if I could have anything I wanted:

I like basement storage. This is FL, no basement here.
I miss having a fenced in yard for the dog to run around.
I wish our porch was screened in. Due to the way it is constructed that's not possible. It was a mistake not buying a home with a screened porch.
First floor master bedroom. Next home will have that for sure.
Central vac. Never had one but it would be nice - the dog sheds and it's such a pain to drag out the vacuum.
More mature landscaping. I love trees - ours are still small.
Walk in shower. My in-laws have them and I really like them.

I love my old house, but I'd love it more, if it had its original kitchen and bathroom. I also wish it had a back stair, and maybe a slate roof.

I also like brick, and sometimes wish the house was brick. But, being a frame house, I have the option of changing the color, whenever it needs painted.

I like my rooms and the size of them. I like having 4 bathrooms.

What I don't like is stairs so I wish my home had an elevator.

a big porch
much more privacy
a garage with an extended driveway
an extra bedroom (really wished I'd chosen a 4 bedroom instead of a 3)
more land

A swimming pool and a basement the size of the house footprint with a media room that seats 20 (with 1/2 bath) with pull-down screen and HD/3-D projector, a craft room for my wife, bedroom suite with it's own bathroom/walk-in closet.

A full finished basement that isn't segregated in halves by stairs like ours is.

-A bigger kitchen.
-Another guest bedroom.
-Our downstairs bathroom a bit bigger so we can have a separate tub AND a shower.

BIG fantasy is having a ballroom to hold dances. We COULD actually do that. We have two rooms that is separated by double doors. We can move furniture, roll up rugs and open the doors and hold a dance. We just can't have too many dancers-maybe a dozen or so-depending on what kind of dancing.

Pure fantasy: a dance studio, not ballroom size but with mirrors, room for ten to line dance.
More serious: solar panels.
