A few weeks ago my parents had some guy come in and redo out bathtub so the bottom was shiny again....

Trouble is the idiot DID NOT SMOOTH IT ALL OUT!! -- Parts of the tub are rough (Pieces of the stuff) and it doesnt feel good!! (I take baths)

Can I take a piece of sandpaper and lightly sand it down?? (I would have to be very careful I reckon)

Are you sure the bottom wasn't left rough intentionally to prevent falls? Most new tubs nowadays have a rough texture on the bottom.

Where are those rough parts exactly?
On the bottom? Maybe that's the anti-slip coating...

Yup. Some people actually put something down to make the bottom anti-slip.

No we asked the guy NOT TO PUT THAT CRAP ON THE BOTTOM!!!! (It didnt have it before and it didnt need it -- ITS NOT SLIPPERY)

No the guy didnt do a good job smoothing it out when he was doing it... Its a sad fact today, you mostly get crap quality service and its sad......

Anyway.... The stopper my father put also in is not working now so He did call the guy.... They are gonna come I guess,I dunno when.........

What question is that??

No its not anti-slip stuff,he didnt put that on!!

Oh I know what ya mean.... Some of the roughness is on the floor down by the drain, some is thruout the bottom a little and on the back part that goes up.. Its just pellets sticking out from the stuff the guy put on.... (I took my finger nail and got rid of a couple)
