When we turn on our gas cooktop it lights right up. However you will suddenly hear the "click click click" coming from a burner that is turned completely off. I'm savvy to remove the top safely but what should I be looking for or replacing?
The electronic control module for the igniter is probably going bad. They are usually located on the rear of the range- you can trace the wires from the igniter back to the module. Or you can find an exploded diagram of your particular model that will show you location; and probably a part number.
