We have had several vacuums over the years but the Hoover we have now is clearly the best.

I have an Oreck but then I work for a cleaning company and bought one new from them. I am ocd about vacuuming. This seems like a silly question and I would make up something if I didn't know what vac I had.

I'm a clean freak, use my vacuum all the time, and get a kick out of how much dirt it removes...but have no idea what brand it is.

You're right. Should have done it years ago.

You don't mention the main reason to buy one - it is consistently ranked best for controlling indoor air pollution.
Finally got our filters!! They don't come with the machine (or at least they didn't with ours - we ordered on Amazon) so I had to order some. I didn't read close enough and just assumed it would come with the filters or at least one. That's what I get for assuming.

Eureka vacuum and Bissell Carpet Cleaner. But my house is mostly hardwood, only carpet is in the bedrooms. But next one will be a robotic one. I hate vacuuming.

I would also find that a very strange question in a rental application.

What a stupid idea.

My vacuum cleaners' brands (I have three) are None of Your Effing Business.

As a property manager with units tenants will not rent without carpet it is amazing how many tenants do not own a vacuum...

Just how is the carpet going to be kept clean with no vacuum?

I'm amazed I can remember this---so long since I've had carpet. It was red, called a "Sanitaire" which is what hotels use, or so they said. It was a terrific upright, even with the dog hair.

I much prefer life with tiled floors; sweep and mop by the maid.

Until I fall and crack a hip, lol!

Carpet would mold here....
