Yeah, you sound a little off with the question.

What's next: if you were a trash bag, what brand trash bag would you be?

I once had a room mate, complete anal retentive, who got excited cleaning the apartment. Really, loved to clean the place...he'd announce what he was going to clean next to anyone who'd listen.

" Now I am going to clean the kitchen! " and off he'd off with a serious look as if he'd declared he was going to invade Russia.

It was disturbing to see this guy clean, organize and reorganize.

Watching him I remember thinking " You can clean and organize everything in the neighborhood but it's never going to cure your mental illness ".

I'm thinking about putting that question on a rental application and so I am wondering if that is something that most people know or that most people don't remember.

Of course, if you'd like to tell me what brand and whether or not you are happy with it, that would be nice, but mostly I'm wondering if it is a reasonable question.
No I don't know, but I checked and it's a Bissel.

If you put that on a rental application people will think you are crazy.

Sounds like you only want to rent to people with a Dyson or a high end vacuum cleaner or that your family owns a vacuum cleaner store.

I would love a roommate that loved to clean, I would buy him a bullhorn and he could announce it to the whole neighborhood for all I cared.

I have a Kirby vacuum that I inherited from my grandmother when she passed away. We use that one upstairs only since it's too heavy to take up and down the stairs.

Downstairs we have a Hoover.

I am surprised only one person owns an Oreck. It used to be the gold standard a few years ago. We have an Oreck XL. It's light, with decent suction but very loud and hard to push. That I haven't figured it out. Vacuums generally glide.

Of course. I bought it, didn't I?

I can tell you what brand of every vacuum cleaner I've ever had was.

But why would that matter to you? Someone can be poor and have a pricey vacuum if he got it as a gift, or wealthy but have a basic brand and model, if they are frugal or devoted to the brand. It means nothing.

I have an expensive Miele brand, Kona model. I think that indicates I'm STUPID, because it's not as good as the cheapo Kenmore I had previously. Never again will I pay much for a vacuum cleaner.

I've had expensive Kirby uprights before, but I bought them used. So that's no indication I spent a lot on my vacuum.
