I have a travertine shower that needs to be cleaned and sealed. I have an estimate from a guy who is going to do the job. He says he is going to use a impregnator solvent sealer.
He says the sealer is good for sealing both the tiles and the grout. Is this right? I always thought they had their own specific sealers. Anyone want to drop their two cents on this? Thanks.
So do you think the solvent is better than the water sealers? Especially if it's a shower? I read that they last longer.
