No We aren't decorating this year. All of the stuff is packed behind all the other boxes we are packing up. We are moving into our new build HOPEFULLY this year. If we don't make it this year, it will be in the beginning of next.
We are also traveling for about 10 days during the Holiday. If they don't have the house ready for closing before the 18th, they will have to wait till we get back. We still don't have a closing date set.
At least the cruise ship should be decorated for Christmas and my Son's family house will be. He's in a new to him house this year also. He already texted me pictures LOL.

This Friday is our I think 5th annual decorate Lucille's tree party with friends. That's as far as I go to having a tree. I haven't had one in over 30 years. I have just a tiny tree that doesn't look like a Christmas tree that I hang antique ornaments on. Will I do it this year? Maybe, maybe not.

Just started today. Hung a lighted garland from the overhang out front, changed out my Autumn leaf door wreath for a Christmas one, put a large wreath on the front of the house. And we bought our Christmas tree today! It's smaller than usual, only an eight-footer. Will decorate that over the next few days.
Had my door wreath up by late October, most of my neighbors had their trees up by the second week in October, entire complex decorated day after Thanksgiving.
Outside decorations and lights were up in early November, but not turned on until the Friday after Thanksgiving. The weather was warm here in November, so took advantage of that.
Inside trees (2 of them) went up Saturday, as did the other inside decorations. The empty decoration boxes give the cats something new to explore.
We just moved into a brand new house three days ago, and my Christmas decorations are out. Not all of them, because we still don't have a tree yet, but I did hang the stockings and put out some of the smaller snowmen stuff. We usually put out everything over Thanksgiving weekend, but moving 1,000 miles away this weekend sort of slowed everything down.
Early december I put out some crystal glass bowls with baubles on sidetables, low cabinets, windowsills and change all candles and tapers to red ones. Since november I have allready hanging on doorknobs of closets/cabinets little stuffed mini pillows, christmas tree mini and crackers made from seasonal xmas cotton quilt fabric. The xmas tree my teen DD and partner used to go buy mid december but the last few years these are sold way early, so is bought this coming first weekend of december. Some christmas tiny lights are hanging in the windows these are there permanent and lit since fall/autumn on dark grey days.
