What's an economical and DIY way to clean fabric furniture and other things that are hard to wipe? I'm not talking about crumbs and things, but stuff that toddlers do like greasy and oily hands and rub them on the sofas, etc. Would rather not pay professional steam cleaners that also do carpet, to clean other things in the house also.

There's a lot of well-priced steam cleaners on Amazon, should I try one of those? Do handheld steamers use a cleaner solution or just hot steam to clean? Like this:
