Have any of you used this service? My house was built in 1973 and has round metal ducts in the attic, and I can tell there's negative pressure when the heat pump is running because if I crack a window I can feel the air being pulled in, I'm also constantly having to dust despite using pleated filters. No return ducting, only supply. Ideally I'd rather seal the ducts myself, but this is a ranch style house and the attic is cramped, my body just isn't that flexible anymore.

I have considered just waiting and installing a package heat pump next time, with new ducting in the crawlspace (get rid of attic ducts). However, my current unit is only 5 years old, so it could be another decade before I need to replace it.

Check out the research from U.S. Department of Energy, the EPA and others who found this technology to be substantially superior to manual duct sealing. It rally is the only effective method for sealing ducts that are hard to reach or completely hidden behind walls. www.aeroseal.com.
