I doubt it. Fan makers are pretty consistent and cheap. That sort of behavior is classical dimmer behavior. And the limitation is virtually always driven by heat. More than 180 watts and the fixture gets too hot. At best it might have a thermal switch but I have never seen one on a fan and I am sure there is no way LED bulbs would trip it.
