I really dislike counter clutter so all of the appliances are in the lazy Susan: Magic Bullet, crock pots, blender, large soup pots that don't fit anywhere else, toaster, and other smaller items. Yep, it all fits, and doesn't get stuck. The small coffee maker is the only appliance with a permanent home ON the counter.

Yeah, they are really sturdy and pull completely out of the cabinet. I can store all of my All Clad pots on them (even on the top pull out). You can access the entire shelf.

Here's the interesting thing. You actually gain very little usable space or may even lose some space using lazy susans over just simply blanking off the dead end of the cabinet. The reason is they are just 3/4 of a circle and because you lose a significant number of square inches at the corners since the lazy susan is round, the net result is very little space gain. For all the appeal the reality isn't that much.

^^ I suppose that's one solution.

But from what I see:
1) the height of what you could put on those shelves is very limited. All short items. No blenders or even tall cans or bottles.

2) If the front shelve is full, your reach in room to the inside is blocked, so getting anything from the back corner is still a PITA. You have to take stuff off the front shelve to get the rear items out.

I suppose it might work for some. But I wouldn't trade my lazy susans for it. Not when I can store taller items -- AND just open the door turn and have anything I want right at my finger tips.

I have the round lazy susan. It holds the oils and canisters of flour, sugar, etc., generally anything used for baking ingredients.

My mother used hers for canned goods. Save the cabinets for the appliances an dishes. Although you could stack dishes in one too.

I had that in a house but who can reach all the way back to that corner? (This was a true whole corner) Heaven forbid front stuff moved something back there, I'd have to find something to hook it out. Not to mention how dark it was in there. Especially the bottom shelf, you had to lay on the floor to reach back in there.
