Saw this tip on FB for how to clean grease from cabinets. What do you guys think? Simple solution or is it just as easy to simply use something like Murphy's Oil Soap?

I'd use the Dawn method before using Murphy's Oil soap. Dawn definitely gets rid of grease, but Murphy's Oil Soap will leave a faint film on wood; that's why I never use it on my wood floors.
Longer term, figure out why there is a problem with grease. Would using splatter screens help? Is the kitchen not configured well? (shelves too close to the stove?)
I like solutions that address the cause of the problem.

I ALWAYS USE DAWN.
it does remove the grease, but it has to be rinsed well though.
I would never use murphy oil soap on my cabinets.
I dont use it on my wood floors either.
The Dawn method is the best and cheapest. However, with so many young kids and people in the house, my friends don't really find it that easy. The easiest is Murphy's Oil Soap wipes. I'm just providing this link here to show you the product. Amazon is actually not the cheapest place to buy this product - I buy mine at Target and they are very cheap. Easy to use, smells good, and there is no noticeable film on my cabinets (I have a dark Ebony finish.
I use Method Daily wood cleaner. Cleans, degreases, and smells wonderful. Now, I do it a couple of times a week, so there's no build up.
