I purchased this grill from Lowe's in 2007 and used it a few times, then changed the hose, etc and use a 20 lb tank. The flame would constantly blow out and the auto lighter quit working, also the adjustment to control the flame apparently went out and i would have to set it to high to even get the tiniest of flame..... It does look great however and am thinking of replacing all the parts or else just remove the parts and use it as a charcoal grill..... any suggestions?
OK guys.... Have owned alot of grills in my time.... I love to grill...My kids bought this for me and I looked at R2D2, as it is known in the family and neighborhoold, and said no way....... Well it proved me wrong, so wrong in fact that this is absolutely the best grill I have ever owned, cause it is small, and I have grilled for 20+ hungry family memebers, who all laughed at it and thought they would have to ordered Burger King to get any food..... Ha Proved them wrong and everybody got hot thick burgers, chicken, and the dogs..... It is all about timing.... Anyway, I would like another for a back up, but I cannot find them and Lowes does not carry them anymore...... Such a shame...... And for the guy who has the wind problem on the roof, All you need is a wind break, and your problem is solved.... Just dont make it so big it blows you and the grill off the roof....... happy grilling all of you...Gerrit..
After hours of trying to hunt down a replacement burner for my "R2D2" BBQ, i finially found a place that sells them, $15/each but they have seasonal limited supply and may take 30-40min to get through the line

I purchased the "R2D2" grill and we really love it - best grill we've owned. I do need the following items # 4 and 6 - they are rusted bad. Any one has this grill that you had to put it away due to parts not being available? Then I need your help (if you want to cannibalize it) on selling me those two parts and/or donating them. Thanks
Anyone know of a place that still has parts for the Perfect Flame Pedestal Grill that is the same as the Sunjoy GBQ010PSS. I have a perfectly good grill that will not function because of a burned up sear plate!
