I found it outside of the house sticking to a wall just above the ground.
Is it poisonous or dangerous?

It looks like a wolf spider to me.

Technically they aren't poisonous but they can bite and release venom and that can be painful (and it requires medical treatment).

The OP lists a MO zip code, so it's probably not a tarantula. It also looks a bit too small for a tarantula--hard to tell the size though.

Probably a type of wolf spider or a jumping spider.

Yep, just confirmed it from my handyman. This is probably a wolf spider and not too notorious for biting.

Yep, just got verified from my handyman, it's probably a wolf spider and not too notorious for biting.
