Do we still have to take things out of cabinets to spray? When calling a pro do they still specify to do this? Also, can I just spray with Spectricide? This is not for my home. I have not had to deal with any kind of bug (knock on wood) by merely spraying my Spectricide around the doorways. They just don't come in.

I think there might be infestation level at a relative's house, but hopefully not too bad. Another person said there was a 'nest' in one place (that she now cleaned, at least) and they are also in the kitchen. There are little traps in the kitchen that are not doing anything.

The instructions from Spectricide are unclear about INSIDE cabinets, as long ago, apartment managers made us clear out for them to come do preventative spray.

For roaches, I would put out combat gel. Dont use any other poison at the same time and follow the directions on the package.

I bought a house that was infested.... not that you knew till the kitchen counters came off.

Anyway, I used https://www.amazon.com/D-Fense-TRTD1...rds=defence+sc which is Deltamethrin, pet/kid safe once dry so it should be fine to spray in cabinets without removing everything.

Those little germans are a PITA to get a handle on. Thankfully the house I bought was able to be vacant for awhile, so I sprayed the entire property multiples of times over the 6 weeks leading up to moving in. Never saw another (living) bug inside again.

Hm. When my Mom was alive it was a constant effort. A service came every 3-4 months for various things.

See the sticky at the top of the forum. I've successfully dealt with infestations that would qualify for a scene in a horror movie.
