Anyone have a tip for quick cleaning a glass cooktop? I use the cream-type cleaner and it works great, but I'd like to be able to clean one spot or small area quickly. Many times I have taken the time and effort to clean it thoroughly with the cream cleaner, but then I get a few small spots the next time I cook something. The entire thing doesn't need to be cleaned--I'd just like to do a quick wipe-up without have to smear the cream, wait for it to dry, then buff. I have googled this and found nothing. I've tried a few spray type non-ammonia cleaners but they leave streaks. Is there anything that will allow a spot cleanup with just a swipe or two? TIA.

I use liquid barkeepers friend, just a quick scrub to get the spots and then clean with some all-purpose (or glass cleaner). Less than a minute of time, probably less than 30 seconds. My wife is dam picky/demanding when it comes to kitchen surfaces, passes her approval.

Nothing works with "just a swipe or two" IMHO.

I’ve had good luck with plain ol’ baking soda when the stains aren’t too bad.

I use Windex Multi-Surface made with vinegar. Cleans well with no streaks.
