An inexpensive item but I love it so much I bought more. A motion detector activated light which I use in closets, under sinks, over countertops, by the stairs.
I like a pitch black bedroom to sleep but when I get up at night, I leave my closet door open about six inches and it detects me walking to the bathroom. Instead of a blinding room light, I have a soft glow so I don't trip. Then when I get back into bed the light goes off automatically.

You mentioned that a few posts ago ... and honestly, my first thought when I saw them advertised is "Really? Your refrigerator contents are so lovely you want them on view?"
I can understand wanting a smaller refrigerator "section" with frequently-used items that you can grab quickly ... but I don't quite get why you need to see the contents 24/7. I mean, it's a small section, you'd see all the contents pretty quickly as soon as you opened the door!
(I actually just have a smaller refrigerator under the counter of my north kitchen, which is basically a bar area. That has drinks and overflow fruit/veggies in it ... but a solid door. )

We have a fridge that has French doors on top and one side has a separate front area where you can just put drinks. It has a dark glass door but if you want to see the contents you just knock on the door (or clap or run the vacuum ) and it lights up! It's wonderful You can't see the rest of the inside of the refrigerator - just the section with the drinks.
We live in Florida and drink all day long so it's really convenient to be able to take as long as you want to make your choice without opening the door. I always offer drinks to anyone working in or around our house and the guys always get a kick out of my "toy."

Ah, that makes more sense to me. I had this vision of a see-through door that was visible all the time. Wouldn't work for MY fridge but I know some people are more organized than I, even with their refrigerator contents!

I always shut off the filter alert light the first time it goes on. I find that a once a year filter change is perfectly fine.

~just kidding with you. Lon ago I watched a movie where the public bathroom had a transparent glass door. Weird idea, but funny too.

LOL!! Um, no, I don't think so! The funny thing is that I live by myself most of the time but I USED to have fairly frequent houseguests (pre-COVID days, alas). I had to remind myself to close the bathroom doors as I just don't usually have to do that (and frankly, I usually have kitties wandering in and out when I'm sitting on the toilet! silly kitties!).

I know what you mean. You can count me in the group of people who have refrained from visiting others, or having others visiting me. But the subject of "bathrooms" makes for lots of funny jokes, so I could not pass the one above
Pets such as cats and dogs can make you laugh, too. At least they don't laugh if staring at how our bodies look when we are nude or sitting on the toilet...no matter how good or bad we look. Got to love "them pets"
