Just bought something really silly that I placed in an open cabinet next to my cooktop ...

It's a spoon rest! You can stand it up for storage (as in the photo) or lay it down when you use it as a soon rest.

Totally silly but it makes me smile when I see it.

Schlage Encode Smart Lock. Helpful in an emergency when you are locked out of your house.

Getting ready to service riding mower. Purchased a riding mower lift from Lowes. Has two pads for the front wheels. Roll the front wheels onto the pads. Strap the wheels to the pads. Turn the crank to raise the front end by as much as 2 feet. Also have blocks and Jack stand for safety. My body isn’t as limber as it once was. Have some parts on order and next month I’m going to use it for annual service for the blade as well as oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, and lubricating steering. Dropping the deck is too difficult for me physically. Perhaps if I could afford a lift that raises the whole riding mower to my chest height then I could drop the deck.

Just coming back since someone "liked" this post- to add that I am going to order another one for our guest room. It's really so convenient. Love the USB ports, and it's so easy to use and adjust. (and it will replace that one from about 1988 that everyone still has)...

It does sound convenient. I like a projection clock so I can read time/temps on the ceiling. I’m gong to see if there’s a projection clock with charging ports.

Funny, that's what I originally wanted, a projection clock. I am pretty sure there are some with the charging ports.
I have to say this one is very easy to read when I am half awake, and it's nice that the brightness can be adjusted. I guess most of them have that feature but again, I am replacing one from probably the 90's or so.

I bought a stone bath mat. It looks great, is super absorbent, and is cleaner than

I decidieid to try the Swiffer Pet Refills instead of the usual regular dry swiffers. I am so impressed with how much more they hold (especially the dog shed!). They are more pricey than the usual but they really do the job better.
