Just bought a small (7 cubic foot) freezer for my garage, mostly for all the overflow poultry I've been buying on sale -- it appears to be the only food that is cheap and I like it so I've been stocking up! I have some heavy-duty casters so I think I will attach them to a piece of plywood and put the freezer on that so I can easily move it around in the garage. (What can I say, I love using casters on things. )

The freezer was just under $200 (OK, $216 with a 2-year protection plan for $18 or 75 cents a month). I was eyeing some at Home Depot but the 14.8-cubic-foot model was close to $850 with a 3-year protection plan. I could buy just about FOUR of the ones from Walmart for that price and have 28 cubic feet of freezer space! (But I just bought one! )

Silliest thing ever, but it works and it I'm tickled by it.
A toothpaste saver thing. It was under $1 for 2 of them, shipped.

Small can of lock lubricant. Used it on all our doors when we moved into this home. Also works for padlocks. Very humid where we live. Use a little spray every year to keep the locks working freely.

Bug zappers.

I used to get a lot of gnats and drain flies.

Enjoyed hearing the "snap" when their tiny bodies hit the electrical grid.

Not so much anymore. A couple of snaps a week.

The zappers really work.

Tomcat brand mouse traps. I've tried so many types of traps. These are the best for me. So easy to use, no pinched fingers, kill cleanly, no mess or suffering, bait isn't even touched they are killed so fast, and re-usable, even though it says 'disposable' on the package.
