I've had mine for about three years. Last week I fixed spagetti for husband - frozen meatballs, broken up noodles, one jar of sauce, one jar of water - 18 minutes. He raved about it.
This weekend I copied the Sous Vide egg bites from Starbucks. OMGosh so good.
Boiled eggs in 5 minutes, etc. love love.
I have a brand new one in the box in case mine croaks, I love it soooo much.

Where do you get those? I have a few locations that would be great.

This made me pause to figure out - we have roughly 85 light bulbs in our house,

At first I thought that was an insane numbe4 of bulbs. Then I started counting and I have nearly as many myself. Another reason to go LED.

I did buy an Alexa, but not for me--for my mom and aunt (my mom moved in with my aunt to help take care of her.) I'd also bought the voice-command light bulbs to go with it. Since my aunt uses a walker and her balance is pretty shaky even with that, I thought it'd be a great idea if she could tell the lights to come on instead of her trying to shift her weight around to free a hand to hit the light switch.
Unfortunately, my aunt's speech has deteriorated enough that Alexa can't understand her. My mom still gets use out of the gadgets, but my aunt can't. I feel a little badly about that.

I replaced the handle two years ago as I had loaned it to a neighbor and it came back broken. For about $20 I had a brand new steam mop.

Make sure you only use distilled water.

Our chef at work told me we should get a Sous Vide cooker. Any suggestions on the most practical brand/model? He said you can get them at Costco but we are not members.

We originally got them online, but my brother found them in a store locally. It woudl be either Home Depot, Lowes, Menyards, or Mejier. I think I saw them at Home Depot once, but they were expensive. Hwoever that was a while ago. All Led prices have come down a lot.

For the people who bought LED bulbs...which ones did you buy? I haven't read the reviews but lot of them for those bulbs aren't good

A Wolf gourmet convection oven. Most of the meals I cook are small so I hardly even use my regular oven anymore. It was a bit pricey but I got it on sale, figure I'll save a ton over the course of the year in lower energy bills. It cooks the food a LOT faster and much more evenly.
