Well, I can tell you what my niece finally got. She got it from her husband as a Christmas gift. After decades of five kids, tons of their cousins and kids' friends and adult friends coming to her home since she is so nice, fun and does have a beautiful pool that tires the kids out....after all that she finally got her very first electric can opener. She is in awe of it. She has always had shelves of canned goods ready for any occasion. She cannot believe she lived for all this time without an electric can opener. Digging into those cans for friends and family with the manual thing, her aching fingers. She is in heaven with this little electric can opener that she says has changed her life.

We got a Toto C100 bidet for Christmas and it is quite nice. Warm seat, warm water....our tushies have never been so pristine.

It's so cool when the smaller things in life bring such joy. Great segue, by the way.

For my birthday my sister gave me what I asked for: a Hoover cordless stick type vacuum. It has made my life so much easier. I have a cat & a dog and mostly all tile except carpet in one bedroom. It works on both and makes vacuuming daily a 10 minute chore in this small house. I love it!

A silicone jar spatula. It’s long, narrow with one piece construction and a stainless steel core so it is rigid. After cleaning out the last bit of mayo from the jar with it and then washing it up with no seams to hide anything, I’m happy!
