Ductless mini split AC system!

We had a Lennox AC system installed and it has been a life changer. Our upstairs was unbearably HOT! We now live in comfort. The 1st month we had both units running 10 to 12 hours a day and our electric bill jumped up $114. These are very efficient energy consuming units so I expect our next bill to be $50 to $60 less as we are cutting back on the hours we run them. Our main unit is 45K BTU, 2nd unit 12.5K BTU.

For anyone living in a hot and or humid environment I highly recommend getting a mini split AC system. I've heard they aren't too hard to install yourself if you want to save money. But we splurged on having it professionally installed and we get 2 years service along with a great 10 year warranty.

A new TV.
Our 2012 Smart TV was not so smart anymore. Support for Prime Video was dropped and our sound bar wasn’t behaving with some streaming channels. The picture is better, but the integration and interface are what is most impressive, it’s so easy to use.

We were spending too much time with powering on and off to sync and being frustrated. Waiting for it to die was not worth it anymore. We listed it for free on FB marketplace and it was picked up in gone in a half hour. Win-win.

A used rice-cooker for $8. I do not eat rice very often, but this thing cooks meat and soups brilliantly.

Aroma Simply Stainless rice-cooker. The cooking-bowl is pure stainless-steel, light and easy to clean........this is the greatest cooking-device in the universe:

Not earth shattering, but so functional.I bought a plastic coated wire thingy that allows me to use my narrow cabinet to store baking sheets and pans and some trays neatly and accessibly. This is similar to what I got, but I bought mine at Ross or TJM for less than $10. The nice part is it also needs no install.
This is just to give an idea of it.
