Looks like there is a class action lawsuit regarding some of their products but it's based on purchase date

Definitely contact the manufacturer. We got $600 back for the cost of the product and are awaiting a check to replace our large deck. This product looked great when it was applied and gave us what we were looking for, a non-slip surface that didn't get scorching hot during the day here in the south. A year later, it was apparent it had wrecked the boards. It cannot be sanded off, and you can't flip the boards, as they have split.

Oh for crying out loud. For a 12 foot square deck, just replace the deck boards and stain them with a quality product, and be done with it.

Yes, 12 feet square = 144 sq. ft.; 12 X 12 = 144.

Duh. 12 square feet is a small shower stall.

Next!

Already did that in previous post!
New wood, a known preservative that actually works, and a regiment that will keep it that way.

The number one detriment to a deck is not the weather; it's lack of maintenance!

But, Barbie famously said: maintenance is hard.

As noted above there is a class action in play now. My in laws did this to their deck and apparently a batch or few was not up to par so it caused a lot of issues. They negotiated with the claims rep to get money for the stripping and re-painting of the deck with their choice of product.

Look around cause it's definitely an issue with more than just your deck.
