My old bedroom became a craft room. No idea what it is now. Haven't been in it in over 20 years!

My old room because my mother's office. I FINALLY got all my crap...er...stuff out of her house about 10 years after I initially moved out. The funny thing was when I was going through what was left, I found a film container and looked into it and found a prehistoric unsmoken roach from my teenage days. I am so glad that my mother didn't find that. It still had a little kick to it.

my younger brother got it; I'd gotten it after our 4 older siblings had gone. There were 3 "kid" bedrooms in the house, and every one of them was "mine" (or mine and my sister's) at some time or other.

My last bedroom was a second master, with an en suite; after the last kid left, my parents moved into that room and turned the other master into an office.

With 9 kids and a grandparent living there, and me being only the second to move out (at 19) it just made more space for the others.

I also shared a room with my sibling till I moved out on my own. When my kids move out we won’t need a 4 bedroom house so we’ll downsize!

My parents turned my bedroom into a guest bedroom. They sold all the furniture, and bought gorgeous, expensive imported furniture. I stayed there a few nights when visiting, but they called it the guest room.

When my daughter moved out, we didn't use her room for anything else. But then we moved too, about two years later.

I grew up in a 4 story house, basement, first floor, and then 2 floors of bedrooms. The boys were on the top level, my parents had the master, my two sisters shared a bedroom, and I had my own room. My brothers all married and moved out after college, so the top floor was empty. I left when I got married, and my room was turned into a household office for my mother. My sisters continued to room together, even though there was plenty of room for them to separate.

I took all of my stuff with me when I left. I had heard my brother's horrified cries when they realized my mother had sent their trains to the town dump.

I grew up in a 7 bedroom house, so there's always been plenty of room. My room is a guest room now, basically mine only for when I come home (even if they're only minutes away)
